✒️International Coconut Day is celebrated on 2nd September every year. The Asia Pacific Coconut Growers Conference was held in Vietnam in 1998. The conference declared 2nd September as International Coconut Day. The aim of the event is to create awareness among the people about the importance of coconut cultivation, highlighting the benefits of coconut and taking steps to increase its use.
- ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் 2ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச தேங்காய் தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
- ஆசிய பசிபிக் தேங்காய் உற்பத்தியாளர்களின் மாநாடு 1998ஆம் ஆண்டு, வியட்நாம் நாட்டில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த மாநாட்டில் செப்டம்பர் 2ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச தேங்காய் தினமாக பிரகடனம் செய்யப்பட்டது.

✒️Nobel Prize-winning German chemist Friedrich Wilhelm Ostwald was born on September 2, 1853, in Riga, Latvia. He conducted research on electrochemistry and chemical mechanics. His research helped to discover the dilution law in this field. This is known as the 'Ostwald dilution law'. He received the Nobel Prize in 1909 for his discoveries concerning kinetics, chemical equilibrium, and reaction rates. Wilhelm Ostwald, considered a pioneer in the field of physical chemistry, passed away on April 4, 1932.
- நோபல் பரிசு பெற்ற ஜெர்மானிய வேதியியலாளர் பிரெட்ரிக் வில்ஹெம் ஆஸ்வால்டு 1853ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 2ஆம் தேதி லத்வியா நாட்டின் ரிகா நகரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் மின் வேதியியல், ரசாயன இயக்கவியல் குறித்து ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். இத்துறையில் நீர்த்தல் விதியைக் கண்டறிய இவரது ஆராய்ச்சிகள் உதவின. இது 'ஆஸ்வால்டு நீர்த்தல் விதி" எனப்படுகிறது.
- வினைவேக மாற்றம், ரசாயன சமநிலை மற்றும் எதிர்வினை இயக்க வேகம் குறித்த கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்காக 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றார்.

🌟The Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959 : It was enacted on 2nd September 1959 & came into force on 1st May 1960, to provide for the compulsory notification of vacancies to employment exchanges.
🌟The Insecticides Act, 1968 : It was enacted on 2nd September 1968 & came into force on 1st March 1971, to regulate the import, manufacture, sale, transport, distribution and use of insecticides with a view to prevent risk to human beings or animals, and for matters connected therewith.
🌟The Border Security Force Act, 1968 : It was enacted on 2nd September 1968 & came into force on 1st March 1969, to provide for the constitution and regulation of an Armed Force of the Union for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith.
