- இவரின் நினைவு தினம் இன்று!
- சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் பிரதமரான ஜவகர்லால் நேரு 1889ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 14ஆம் தேதி உத்திரப்பிரதேச மாநிலத்திலுள்ள அலகாபாத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் குழந்தைகள் மீது மிகுந்த அன்பு கொண்டிருந்தவராக இருந்ததால், இவரது பிறந்த நாளை இந்தியக் குழந்தைகள் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
- இவர் ஜாலியன் வாலாபாக் படுகொலை சம்பவம் (1919), காந்தியின் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கம் (1920) மற்றும் வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கம் (1945) ஆகிய சுதந்திர போராட்டங்களில் பங்கேற்றவர்.
- நேரு அவர்கள், ஆகஸ்ட் 15, 1947 முதல் மே 27, 1964 வரைப் பிரதமராக பணியாற்றினார். இவர் 1951ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்திய திட்டக்குழுவை உருவாக்கி, சுதந்திர இந்தியாவின் முதல் ஐந்தாண்டுத் திட்டத்தை உருவாக்கினார்.
- இவர் சிறந்த ஆங்கில எழுத்தாளராகவும் திகழ்ந்தார். இவர் எழுதிய நூல்கள் 'தி டிஸ்கவரி ஆப் இந்தியா" (The Discovery of India) 'க்ளிம்ப்ஸஸ் ஆப் வேர்ல்ட் ஹிஸ்டரி" (Glimpses of World History) மற்றும் அன் ஆட்டோபயோகிராஃபி (An Autobiography) போன்றவை ஆகும்.
- இந்தியாவின் எதிர்கால முன்னேற்றம், குழந்தைகள் மற்றும் இளைஞர்களின் கல்வியை மேம்படுத்துவதில் தான் இருக்கிறது" என்பதை நன்கு உணர்ந்து அரசாங்க உயர் கல்வி நிறுவனங்களை ஏற்படுத்திய நேரு அவர்கள், 1964ஆம் ஆண்டு, மே 27ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

- இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் ரவி சாஸ்திரி 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 27ஆம் தேதி பம்பாயில் பிறந்தார். இவரது முழுப்பெயர், ரவிஷங்கர் ஜெயதிரிதா சாஸ்திரி.
- இவர் கல்லூரி இறுதியாண்டில் ரஞ்சிக் கோப்பையில் விளையாடுவதற்குத் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார். பேட்ஸ்மேனாகவும், பந்து வீச்சாளராகவும் இருந்தார். பிறகு ஆல்ரவுண்டராக மாறினார்.
- இவர் நியூசிலாந்துக்கு எதிராக அறிமுக வீரராக பங்கேற்று முதல் ஆட்டத்திலேயே ஆட்ட நாயகன் விருதை வென்றார். 1985ஆம் ஆண்டில் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் வேர்ல்ட் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் ஆப் கிரிக்கெட்டின், சாம்பியன்ஸ் ஆப் சாம்பியன்ஸில் தேர்வானார்.
- கிரிக்கெட்டுக்கான அர்ஜுனா விருது, சிறந்த வர்ணனையாளருக்கான விருது உள்ளிட்ட பல விருதுகளை பெற்றுள்ளார். 1994ஆம் ஆண்டு ஓய்வு பெற்ற இவர் இந்திய அணியின் பயிற்சியாளராக இருந்தார், தற்போது வர்ணனையாளராக உள்ளார்.

🌟 1907ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 27ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்க கடல்சார் உயிரியலாளர் ரேச்சல் லூயிஸ் கார்சன் அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்தார் - Rachel Louise Carson, the American marine biologist, essayist, and traditionalist (her influential book Silent Spring and other writings are credited with propelling the worldwide natural development) was born on May 27, 1907, in the United States.

As the pioneer of the particular causative specialists of lethal irresistible infections including tuberculosis, cholera, and Bacillus anthracis, he is viewed as one of the fundamental originators behind present day bacteriology, was died on May 27, 1910.
🌟 1937ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 27ஆம் தேதி கலிஃபோர்னியாவில் கோல்டன் கேட் பாலம் திறக்கப்பட்டது - The Golden Gate Bridge opened in California on May 27, 1937. It is a suspension bridge engineered overpass crossing the Brilliant Entryway, the one-mile-wide (1.6 km) waterway interfacing San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Sea. It also carries pedestrian and bicycle traffic. Being pronounced one of the Marvels of the Advanced World by the American Culture of Structural Architects. The bridge is the most universally perceived images of San Francisco and California. It was at first designed by engineer Joseph Strauss in 1917. The bridge is really not brilliant by any means! It's a dazzling red-orange. It was named one of the Seven wonders of the Cutting edge World. It required four years to build. There are around 600,000 rivets in every one of the extension's pinnacles. Inspite of it's significance, it is having some unpleasant satistics...The bridge is the most utilized suicide site on the planet. The deck is around 245 feet (75 m) over the water. Following a fall of four seconds, jumpers hit the water at around 75 mph (120 km/h; 30 m/s). Most die from impact trauma. Around 5% endure the underlying effect but generally drown or die of hypothermia in the cold water.
