✒️உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற தற்காப்பு கலை வீரரும், பிரபல நடிகருமான புரூஸ் லீ 1940ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 27ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவின் சான் பிரான்சிஸ்கோ-வில் பிறந்தார் - Bruce Lee (Lee Jun-fan), actor, director, martial artist, martial arts instructor, philosopher and founder of "Jeet Kun Do" was born on 27th November 1940 in San Francisco, USA.

• யிப் மான் என்பவரிடம் தற்காப்பு கலையை ஆர்வத்துடன் கற்றார். இவர் தத்துவத்தில் ஆழ்ந்த ஞானம் பெற்றவர். சொந்தமாக ஒரு நூலகமே வைத்திருந்தார் - He learned martial arts from Yip Man with much interest. He was deeply enlightened in philosophy and for which had his own library.

• சீன தற்காப்பு கலையை உலகம் முழுவதும் பரப்பும் நோக்கில், தற்காப்பு பயிற்சிப் பள்ளியை தொடங்கினார். மேற்கத்திய மல்யுத்தம், ஜூடோ, கராத்தே, குத்துச்சண்டையுடன் சில புதிய முறைகளையும் சேர்த்து புது வடிவிலான தற்காப்பு கலையை உருவாக்கினார். 'ஜீட் குன் டோ" என்ற கலை இவரால் பிரபலமடைந்தது - He Launched the Martial Arts Training School with the aim of spreading Chinese martial arts around the world. He developed a new form of martial art, combining Western wrestling, judo, karate, and some new methods with boxing. The art of 'Jeet Kun Do' became popular with him.

• இவர் 1971ஆம் ஆண்டு 'தி பிக் பாஸ்" என்ற திரைப்படத்தில் நடித்தார். இப்படம் ஆசிய கண்டத்தை அசத்தியது. சண்டைக் காட்சிகளில் இவரது வேகத்துடன் கேமராவின் வேகம் ஈடுகொடுக்க முடியாமல் 24 என்று இருந்த ஃபிரேம் அளவை 34-ஆக மாற்றிய ஹாலிவுட் வரலாறு இன்றளவும் பேசப்படுகிறது - He starred in the 1971 film 'The Big Boss', which stunned the Asian continent. Hollywood history still speaks of him changing the frame size from 24 to 34 without being able to match the speed of the camera with his speed in fight scenes.

• நான்கு படங்கள் மட்டுமே நடித்து, உலகம் முழுவதும் ஏராளமான ரசிகர்களைப் பெற்ற சாதனையாளரான புரூஸ் லீ 1973ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுலை 20ந் தேதி தனது 32வது வயதில் மறைந்தார். இவரது மறைவுக்குப் பிறகு வெளிவந்த 'என்டர் தி டிராகன்" என்ற திரைப்படம் உலகம் முழுவதும் வசூலில் சாதனை படைத்தது. இவ்வளவு குறுகிய காலத்தில் உலகெங்கும் உள்ள இளைஞர்களை ஈர்த்த தனிமனிதன் இவராகத்தான் இருக்க முடியும் - Bruce Lee died on 20th July 1973 at the age of 32. The film 'Enter the Dragon', which was released after his demise, became a worldwide blockbuster, and he could be the only person to have attracted young people from all over the world in such a short period of time.
